Queenstown - Adventure Capital?

After an excellent stay at the Banks Peninsula, we travelled on to Queenstown via Lake Ohau, visiting some MacKay relations--Norman and Barbara--who must have one of the best views in New Zealand.

We had a very pleasant night there before continuing on our journey to Queenstown. The adventure continued with a jetboat trip on the Shotover River. That's us in the second row with the empty seat behind me. We only lost one --- only kidding!

We are now preparing for our three day walk on the Routeburn Track - watch this space.

Hi mum and dad,
Great to read the blog updates. Just to let you know grandchild number 4 is still staying put for the minute. Hopefully not much longer to go though... Finished work on Friday so enjoying a bit of time off before the fun starts!
Take care, Rona x

Loving reading about your adventures. Calum particularly liked the elephant picture and is still talking about when you are next coming to visit cause his parents are boring! Remind you of anyone...

Looking forward to the Routeburn Track installment - happy tramping NZ stylee

Love Mhairi x

Hello Norma and Tom.

Sounds like you are both having a fantastic time. Your trip to New Zealand brought back many memories for me. I visited New Zealand in 1993. Loved it. I am in touch with an Eddie Kiddie. Do you know him? Apparently his mother visited your Mum recently. A small world.
